Audrey Margaret Variety Singer from Wooster, OH

Audrey Margaret has a unique rich mezzo-soprano voice. She was a performer this past summer in 14 performances of Brigadoon with the esteemed, "Ohio Light Opera," at the College of Wooster Freedander Theater. Audrey has sang for weddings, reunions, the Fostoria Glass Festival, the Fostoria Arts Council, and Fostoria Lunch on the Lawn. She has experience as a cantor for Catholic services, and has performed the National Anthem for many events. Audrey was first runner-up, in 2013, for the Quota Idol contest in Wooster Ohio. In 2014 Audrey was asked to return and perform at the All-Star Quota Idol. As a member of the Gamma Phi Beta sorority she has entered and won several greek competitions in college, helping to raise money for different philanthropies. Audrey is a senior in college studying film production and music. She is a variety solo singer available for wedding ceremonies, reception dinner entertainment, cocktail parties, festivals, reunions, fundraisers, etc. Audrey has a big repertoire that ranges from the Ave Maria to musical theater to contemporary music, and she is willing and able to learn new material very quickly. She can sing with a band or accompanist, but will provide pre-recorded background music if needed. A typical variety set may include song covers from; Billy Joel, Olivia Newton John, The Fifth Dimension, Adele, Disney, Amy Winehouse, The Beatles etc. As you can see she covers a variety of new and old. Add in a few show tune numbers and you have an idea of how versatile Audrey is. Audrey also performs with her grandfather Dan Opperman (Crooner Dan) for many functions. They each perform individually and sing duets. Their show will include Sinatra, oldies, show tunes, Beatles, Billy Joel, Elvis etc. They would be a perfect addition to any cocktail party, festival, fundraiser or wedding.
