The Local Group was born in Chicago with world class talent. Our vision is to tailor entertainment to your specific needs.
The Local Group presents recognizable music ranging from Chicago traditional blues, rock and R&B, to jazz, pop and country. They deliver high energy, professional rock star quality entertainment for your occasion and/or event.
The Local Group performs at various sized functions such as bar, private, corporate, wedding, and festivals small and large. Any combination of musicians can be hired for your event including additional instrumentation out side of The Local Group's core members. Examples would be saxophone, violin, harmonica, congas, etc. We can supply anything from a quiet instrumental duo playing background music for your baby shower to a full 12 piece band for your outdoor summer festival and everything in-between.

I hired Andrea (singer) and Brian (guitarist) of the Local Group for my wife's 30th birthday party over the 4th of July weekend and they took our party to the next level! Their caliber of musicianship far exceeded our expectations. The sound they could create as just a duo surpassed many full bands I have seen live. Everyone danced the night away. Andrea and Brian were great about taking requests and even learned my wife and I's first dance song. Needless to say, they gained me high praise from my in-laws. I would unequivocally recommend these two to anyone and I look forward to hiring them again for my future events. Thanks again guys for a great night!

They performed at Milwaukee Area Tech college for an event we had and they exceeded expectations in every way. We have had other bands at the school in the past that were good but The Local Group was extremely talented, performed songs that everyone could enjoy and really bonded with the students. They even stayed after for a bit to take picture with the people. I hope to work with this group again in the future!
