Motel Funk Variety Band from Saint Petersburg, FL

Motel Funk is a variety band. We cover a wide demographic as far as ages and our song list is just a little different, refreshing if you will. We like to use the description "funk-Pop-A-Roll" to give you an idea of what we can cover. Our song list is always being added to and we will learn a minimum of material upon request for a special occasion. We perform locally as a four piece band, Guitar, bass and drums with myself as the front vocalist though we do have three lead vocals and put out some strong harmonies. If we add the occasional fifth piece we try to bring on a keyboardist for the most variety instrumentally. For larger events we will add keys and or horns. We have several on-call players we like to use. In addition, we also have an "unplugged/plugged in" set up we use weekly in town for a venue but is perfect for smaller or more intimate situations. It's very musical and not too laid back. With Motel Funk you will get a fun, energetic performance very time. I personally like to spend time discussing the details with the client so we are sure we are the right band for you. We have been together for five years. It's a tight, musical group.
