Who is Joe Worrel?
That is a question that can be answered but it might take a few minutes of your time. Joe was born into a musical family in Missouri, where his Mom and Dad made the rounds pickin'at backyard picnics, hog roasts and barn dances. Joe learned to play the bass guitar and sing harmony by age 7 and was hooked. At 15, Joe started touring over 200 dates a year with a group of talented kids and played from coast to coast cutting their teeth on country music and the road. After this great experience, Joe spread his wings literally and joined the Air Force for his tour of duty. A decorated Veteran, Joe served Uncle Sam in support of our freedom. Still always active in the music scene Joe started a band, which toured regional markets for several years. Joe has been a back up singer and bass player for many great artists as well as an accomplished session player. Joe soon decided fronting a band and songwriting was his calling and after a few years touring nationally as a solo acoustic artist, he moved to Atlanta Georgia to try his hand on bluegrass music, touring many of the finest festivals in the region. Joe packed up his flat top and left the mountains of Georgia for high rise city life of Chicago. Once there, Joe rediscovered his love for bass playing, touring with some nationally renowned blues artists. Joe began work on his CD, “Take me with you”. It was released on I-tunes in 2007 and Joe formed The Last Free Exit Band, a group of hard playing proffesional stage killers. He then bought his first tour bus and hit the road with a vengeance, touring over 250 dates a year and he hasn't looked back. Joe's live show, which is full of energy and variety, has been compared to the likes of great performers like Garth Brooks and Chris Ledoux. His singing style has hints of vocal heroes like, Ronnie Milsap, Delbert McClinton, Ronnie Dunn with a touch of the Hagg in there that gives him a great style but yet a distinct voice of his own. Joe's second CD "Drive a truck" is available on itunes. Joe continues touring nationally and he can still be seen locally ripping out on some classic rock tunes with "Those Party Bros" .

I cannot even begin to count the number of positive comments I heard throughout the evening about this band! They did a fantastic job all around and I would definitely recommend them. As a matter of fact, we are already thinking of an anniversary party for each year and this group of guys would be our FIRST choice. They rocked the party and we had a great time! Many thanks to Joe and the band. Chan & Linda Stowell Westmoreland, KS

Joe was great to work with. He called a few weeks before the wedding to go over the songs we wanted for our first dance etc. Even though they weren't songs they played regularly Joe made sure they were ready in time for the wedding. Overall I was very pleased with the band and I would highly recommend them. Derek Smith
