Jim Hickey is one of the leading ukulele instructors in the Charlotte area. As a Ukulele performer he has played numerous private events and festivals throughout the Carolinas as well as hosting international ukulele artists for workshops and concerts when they pass through the Charlotte area.
Jim plays a variety of music during a show: classic rock, country, oldies, blues, funky tunes, and some entertaining instrumentals as well as many crowd favorites from yesterday and today which carry over very well to Ukulele. Jim uses looping technology adding percussions and harmony singing to his performances and filling the space with maximum sound for one person with a tiny instrument.
