Rhoades Trumpet Player from Annapolis, MD

I'm really a trombone player but there wasn't an option for that in the pull down menu so I had to choose trumpet player. Just an octave down after all! I specialize in standards (Great American Songbook) and dixieland as well as brass quintet music. Been playing professionally since 1977 and have played (over the years) with about every possible ensemble imaginable. Artists that I have worked for include The Temptations, Four Tops, Spinners, O-Jays, Wayne Newton, Bob Hope, Eddy Arnold, Bernadette Peters, Marvin Hamlisch, Tony Curtis and many others. Military service was from 1982 to 2003 in the Naval Academy Band and the Navy Band. Soft reception music is something I love to do…good jazz that allows you to talk or listen. I live in Annapolis, Maryland with my wife Jane along with one dog and way too many kitties.
