Style Our style stems primarily from the Pop Genre, incorporating fan favorites from the 2000's to today with our high energy playing style. Our instrumentation for full band includes Vocals, Drummer, Guitarist, Bass Player, Pianist and optional saxophone. We would love to play at your next event! We incorporate electronic backing tracks when performing modern songs to give you that extra dance feel. For our Full band set list we primarily play dance-friendly hits that are high tempo, upbeat, and high energy. We also can play classic wedding or holiday appropraite hits that are known and loved by people of all ages. Our style, setlist, and performance has gotten rave reviews from weddings we have played (We are fro Charleston, wedding season is crazy), 20+ private parties, and we pride ourselves in accommodating to make each event perfect and unique (song requests, any special requests) Performance History City on Down has been playing all over the Charleston area for more than a year, primarily known as an original band, but playing cover shows on the side to pay for studio costs and touring. We are currently one of the go-to bands for King Street Public House, Uptown Social, and have performed all over Downtown Charleston including Mynt, Republic, 492 King Street, The Brick, and many more. Other Charleston venues we have played at include Purple Buffalo, My Father's Mustache, The Refuge, Tin Roof, Montreux Bar and Grill as well as many others. We performed over 150 Shows in 2017 and over 100 shows already since the start of 2018. After performing at the Music Farm in downtown Charleston in front of over 700 of our fans while releasing our newest EP "Used to Be Young, we then went on our first Southeast Tour in May and performed at some of the top venues in cities like Nashville, Atlanta, Charlotte, Myrtle Beach, and more. Performance Set Up We provide the following for each show, but can also plug in through in house speakers to add more surround-sound like ambience to the venue. We provide: Full PA system with two speakers, additional subwoofer when needed, PA Monitor, Sound Technician (if not done in house), 2 Performance lights and all necessary instrumentation.
