Tara Hofmann Trio Jazz Band from Washington, DC

Tara Hofmann Trio entertains regularly in venues along the east coast for public and private events. Tara combines her vocals with Russ Rodgers on bass and Dennis Benjamin on guitar. Between the three of them they have played at Blues Alley, Carter Barron Amphithatre, Birchmere, Kennedy Center, Union Hall New York, Ronald Reagan Building, Women's War Memorial, OBX locations, VA and MD wineries and are regulars in Olde Towne, Va. With a BA and M.Ed Tara teaches music tech and conducts choral performing groups for Fairfax County Schools and has released two CD's, one written with and for young audiences. Tara provides a wide variety of ensemble sizes to fit your needs, ranging from a duo or trio for a more intimate club or small party, to a quartet or quintet for larger settings and events. Her repertoire is wide and varied; covering classic jazz standards, ballads, blues, adult contemporary and original arrangements.
