Wow! I am so impressed with South Coast Swing in ALL REGARDS! From the start to end EVERYTHING went FANTASTICALLY and BEAUTIFULLY! ! I booked the band for my father’s 99th birthday celebration which was on Christmas Eve, 2023. The communication with the band leader was excellent and left me feeling very confident that we would NOT be disappointed. We worked closely with the band’s song director to select the play list from hundreds of songs!. My father and EVERYONE enjoyed all the 40’s Big Band music which was played flawlessly and professionally! Thank you for making my father’s 99th birthday celebration so extra special for him and all of us! I will book again!??

The band worked with us to make sure we had the event covered. We were able to freely communicate on selection. They provided us sound cuts for some of our more important song choices and we even had their representatives come to the site to verify the electrical locations and the dual location setup we wanted for the band with valueable input.
Their performance was great, and everyone enjoyed having such a great sound for the wedding. Having a singer who was really good just added to the overall experience.
Te South Coast Swing band was well worth the investment and really made the wedding spectacular.

I cannot say enough great things about South Coast Swing. Their music made our wedding. Not only do they have a great sound and repertoire, but they are amazing to work with. My husband and I wanted to do our first dance to a song that was not already in their book. No problem! South Coast Swing learned the song to perfection and gave us a wonderful first dance. Our guests have repeatedly commented that this band made our reception. A++

This was such a marvelous party and South Coast Swing was one of the main reasons. We had the event outside and the music filled the courtyard, as our guests walked in from the parking lot the music greeted you, it was a glorious night, dancing under the stars !! Classy! Classy! Classy! South Coast Swing was the highlight of our party. We had a destination wedding but wanted to have a party to celebrate with our friends back home that could not make our wedding. The band came dressed in tuxes and blew everyone away with their performance. They were very anxious to make the event exactly what I wanted, and they did. They were so accomodating and a pleasure to work with. I received many compliments on the caliber of the event, thanks mostly to the band, and many compliments on the band itself. I would hire them again in a heartbeat and hope to do so in the future.

“South Coast Swing, couldn’t have been better! We received so many “where did you find them, they were great” comments throughout the night and still to this day. Many of our family and friends commented on the excellent musicianship and professionalism. We were fortunate they weren’t already booked on our wedding night because they definitely added to the evening in a way no one else could have. They did so much more than just "play" our wedding. They designed our set list, provided wedding music, even rehearsed our first dance song with us at their rehearsal! If you hire S.C.S. you are getting FAR more than you are paying for. Thank you SCS!

South Coast Swing did a wonderful job at our wedding reception. Everyone was raving about the music for many days afterwards. The band leader, was very meticulous about details and cheerfully accommodated our special requests. He even kindly drove a long distance to attend our walk through session and scope out our venue. The band looked very sharp in their tuxedos the day of our wedding and the vocals were amazing. We highly recommend South Coast Swing!

From first rehersal practice to wedding nite breakdown, South Coast Swing were absolutely wonderful to work with. They were the talk of the evening and felt like part of the family. The band was amazing and truly made our wedding reception special! All of our guests were impressed and we are still receiving compliments on how good they were. Just their stage presence alone was jaw dropping and made the room look incredible! They were the highlight of the night! Not only are they talented, they are all such nice and wonderful people and were very great to work with during the entire planning process.

Our parents and guests were blown away by how incredible this band sound. They were very accommidating when we requested for two songs (All of Me by John Legend and You Raise Me Up by Josh Groban) that were out of the norm for a Big Band, which our vocalist and the band did a beautiful job. Our guests (majority were Asians) enjoyed the music and even got out onto the dance floor. The band leaders, Al and Norm were very professional and worked with us on many details prior to the wedding. This is a very classy and highly talented group of musicians. We're glad to have booked them for our wedding.

We were thoroughly impressed with South Coast Swing. The band leaders communicate clearly and efficiently, and they were always professional. They were able to accommodate all of our requests, and the 16 member band performed flawlessly and with passion during our event. We asked for the "formal" look, so they wore elegant tuxedos. All of our guests were dancing and loved the music selection. We also appreciated the range of music, from upbeat lindy hop to a waltz. They were a tasteful and classy, yet still fun, addition to our reception. And the price was unbeatable for such talent! I would recommend this band to anyone looking for a more unique and tasteful event.

They were awesome group to have at our fundraising Gala. I can’t say enough good thing about them. I coordinated with Al through out days of planning and he was always very responsive and helpful. They were very responsive to any request in time or logistic changes. Their sound was wonderful and filled the room with joy. They looked beautiful in their tux’s and evening dress. They made our event espectacular! Thank you much for being part of 30 year celebration of our foundation!
