Route66 was very accomodating to us last minute - however, they did not come properly prepared for the formality of the event (i.e. wearing slides to a wedding). The love songs were Great! But I did not like the scat-type performance as it didn't fit the wedding vibe. I wanted all love songs and clean, jazz sound. There were some comments I received from guests that some of the band members were high or inappropriately discussing weed with my super conservative family that I was marrying into. No doubt, most of the jazz performance was good and they are talented - just make sure to emphasize the formality and if the family is conservative or not.

We booked Route 66 for our wedding reception and they were a hit! The band was extremely professional, looked great, sounded phenomenal, & we loved the music. This high level of energy created the best & most memorable ambiance at our wedding. We received many positive comments from our guests. In addition, the band manager Robert was a joy to work with &made that part of our wedding planning very easy. You will not be disappointed if you book them. We hope to book them in the future for a special anniversary party, & we always sing their praises to anyone looking for a special band to take an event to the next level.

Bob and Route 66 made our Wedding celebration shine. EVERYONE has commented on how wonderful the music was durring dinner where just 6 band members played soft music to the full team of 16 playing until after we took off. Their talent is excellent. We would use Route 66 again in a heartbeat and recommend them to family and friends!

I can't say enough good things about Robert Yetter & Route 66's professionalism and talent. They helped me work with the hotel to get this gig approved. The hotel told me I wouldn't be allowed to have the band less than 3 days before my event, mainly due to band size and potential noise problems. I couldn't believe it. This event was planned since October 07, and I was livid. However, between Robert and myself the hotel reluctantly agreed to allow the band, and they proved to be a smashing success!! I will definately recommend them in the future, as this was the second time I had hired them.

Route 66 was fabulous! They made my wedding such a hit. They sounded great, all of my guests were impressed and had a great time. Our wedding even got crashed by a party in another room that heard our great music and came to join the fun. The price was unbeatable and the music was great, thank you!!

Robert Yetter was our main point of contact for booking the talent. His responses were immediate and highly professional. Not only had they performed in our event space in the past, they were able to provide recommendations on how to make the sound more conducive to the networking environment we were trying to create. This band MADE our night perfect, the music was perfect to link generations, as the twenty-somethings danced right along side the grandparents! I would whole heartedly and completely recommend this band to anyone, we still are receiving compliments on the band a month later!
