We are a Gypsy Jazz band based in beautiful Bozeman, with a passion for playing music in the style of Django Reinhardt. Our music is upbeat, joyful, and elegant, suitable for dancing or listening. Our repertoire includes Django Reinhardt compositions, American jazz standards, and original tunes. Our flexibility allows us to perform indoors or outdoors, with or without a sound system. Past performances include wedding ceremonies and receptions, outdoor parties, swing dances, and concerts. The musicians are long-time pickers and accomplished alums of many musical endeavors who have been together for several years. They offer tons of tight instrumental work, luring us onto the dance floor. Because this type of jazz started mostly in France, it is called "jazz manouche." It zeroes in on the repertoire of famed Gypsy guitarist Django Reinhardt and French jazz violinist Stéphane Grappelli, who together formed the popular Hot Club of France in the '30s.
