Ovation String Quartet won the Gigmasters' Best of 2017 Award!! Ovation String Quartet began from friendships and a mutual passion for making great music. Established in 2013, the group has become one of the most active quartets in the Twin Cities, performing for over 75 events per year. Corporate clients include Ameriprise, Northwestern Mutual, Doubletree Hotels, API Group, and Cozen O'Connor Law Firm. What Makes Us Unique: Superior Service. Our clients are important to us, and we provide personalized service at every step along the way. Our repertoire list. We are a versatile group. Not only do we include many styles in our repertoire, but we love to play each and every variety. Our arrangements of popular music are created with great attention to detail so that they are engaging, beautiful, and a joy to play. ***Special Requests. If you have a song in mind and it's not already on our list, we will create a special arrangement at no extra cost (up to 2 per event). Other area ensembles charge for this service; not Ovation. Consider it a gift to you! Flexibility. For smaller events, we also break down to a trio or duo. Additionally, we offer violin/piano or cello/piano combinations. This allows clients the ability to easily integrate Ovation into a particular venue size, or budget. Sincerity. We maintain authentic friendships outside of our business, which we feel gives us exceptional energy, unity and passion when we play together. Generosity. Believing in music's ability to cheer and move people, we bring music out into the community, not just to paying clients. We regularly share our music at Dunn Brothers, Butter Bakery & Underground Music Cafe, among other informal venues. What to Expect: During the planning process, you will receive a music planning checklist. We are there to help out as needed with making music decisions and planning related to the music. If you have special music requests, we need to know them 30 days in advance in order to create the arrangement. There are also quartet arrangements of many pop songs through various music sites, and you are welcome to provide the music if within less than 30 days. We will arrive 20-30 minutes ahead of our playing start time. Our set-up time is very quick and efficient, and we won't be a distraction to other things going on.
