Oread Strings String Quartet from Lawrence, KS

The Oread Strings is a collective of world-class, conservatory-trained musicians that provide chamber music ensembles for weddings, corporate events, parties, civil ceremonies, receptions, holiday events, recording sessions, as well as private and public concerts. Based in Northeast Kansas, our musicians are members of the Kansas City Symphony, the Topeka Symphony, the St. Joseph Symphony, and Symphony of Northwest Arkansas, Wichita Grand Opera, New Ear Chamber Ensemble, and the Kansas City Baroque Consortium, and have performed internationally with artists such as Nora Jones, Lou Reed, Bright Eyes, Burt Bacharach, Josh Groban, and Brian Wilson. We offer a wide selection of music, including classical, traditional, broadway, pops, and rock, and we can usually accommodate special requests.
