We are the Marigold String Quartet based in Jacksonville Florida. We were formerly known as the Jacksonville String Quartet when we founded the quartet, but we are looking to expand our services and spread the love of beautiful string music at your event. Our Quartet consists of the leading college students attending the University of North Florida and Jacksonville University, all of which are majoring in music performance. We have performed at corporate events, art galleries, parties, dinners, restaurants, and even simple date nights to add an extravagant atmosphere, but we do specialize in weddings. We also play for charity events to spread the awareness of string music. Our players also offer lessons, and requests for arranging pieces as a service also. This group was everything I could have asked for! I'm a wedding planner myself and I've been looking for quartets to network with. I booked a duet for a friends birthday to see what they offer before I begin suggesting them for my weddings. Brendan and Vanessa were extraordinarily accommodating with choosing the ensemble and the music. I asked them to arrange a piece for me, and later that week they sent me a recording of them playing it! It was professionally done and the recording quality was exceptional. I highly recommend the Marigold String Quartet to anyone who is looking for a professional quartet. I'm definitely giving this group a call for my next events.
