Larkspur Quartet String Quartet from Minneapolis, MN

The Larkspur Quartet was established in 1988. Our Ensemble is also known as The Bellagala String Quartet. That's because for the last 10 years, when a client working with the wedding planners at Bellagala requests a string quartet, we play the wedding for them. We do a consistently excellent job for both Bellagala and the client. Bellagala is an award winning, one stop wedding boutique located in the Twin Cities. Our ensemble has played for outdoor and indoor weddings, receptions, private parties and special events. Upon request, we will create a special arrangement of your favorite song for your wedding. We can add a beautiful ambiance to your special day. Instrumentation consists of 2 violins, viola and cello. Our repertoire consists of works by the master composers of the romantic, classic and baroque eras. We also have works from 20th century. To this, we have created many special arrangements of contemporary popular songs. We play songs by The Beatles, Rolling Stones and Moody Blues. We play songs by Christina Perri, Bruno Mars, Coldplay and Adele. We occasionally back singers with our Ensemble for weddings. For those that prefer a more contemporary sound, our Strolling Trio is available. The ensemble plays blues, rock, swing and jazz music. Adding a special excitement to any social gathering, our Strolling Trio will be the life of your party! This ensemble plays requests, and, can even stroll from table to table while doing so. Or, this ensemble can remain stationary and fill the room with beautiful sound. Instrumentation consists of violin, string bass & guitar. The energy generated by this ensemble is electric. The Larkspur Trio consists of two violins and cello. The repertoire is basically the same as for our Quartet.
