We had a wonderful family celebration impart because of the fantastic steel drum music provided by Jason! Courteous, professional and very talented...we would highly recommend Jason and Tropical Gems Duo! They will definitely be the entertainment for our next event!!

Hired this band to play to lead my husband and I out of our wedding ceremony, and to play in the parking lot as guests came out. We paid fully up front a few weeks prior. Not only did they NOT play in the lot, they hunted down my PARENTS who were not involved in paying for this at all, & told them we owed the band $200, and refused to leave without payment. My father wrote them a check, and they cashed it that day. Not a fun discussion with my parents, telling them/showing them we did not owe them anything. My wedding was in July but to this day it's very humiliating seeing this band in our wedding photos, knowing they did a half job and did that to my poor parents.

We played recessional music also played music outside the sanctuary until the wedding party and the entire Church was empty, about 175 people. The bride, groom and bridal party exited the sanctuary and went outside to the right exit into the parking lot. The band exited the sanctuary, went out to the left exit and continue playing, people everywhere. Huge Church with parking on either side of the building with a driveway that encircled the Church. No member of our band meet, messaged or spoke to the bride, groom, parents of the bride or groom on the wedding day; our contact was a pleasant lady named Kathy. Our band fulfilled all aspects of our contract....

The band I booked for my party cancelled two weeks prior to my party and I found Tropical Gems through Gigmasters. After reading their favorable reviews, I took a chance with them and it was a blessing in disguise as my husband and I liked Tropical Gems 100 times more than our original band. They are very professional, touching base with me several times before the party and very accommodating by playing special requests. We would highly recommend the Tropical Gems. I wish we had another event coming up so we could book them again.

Perfect compliment to an outdoor summer party. All the guests enjoyed the vibe. Only note: despite the name of the group it was not a duo-- but a solo ---that worked just fine for a party of 20. Would ABSOLUTELY want him back to entertain again. Great addition to the evening.

I wanted to highlight my sons' graduation party with a special memory so I decided to hire a Reggae Band. I am so happy that I was able to find Tropical Gems through GigMasters. Jay and Liam arrived on time and played some excellent reggae for 3 hours straight! The party guests all appreciated the addition of some great music. Jay and Liam were very warm and friendly people who were also wonderful musicians! Thank you for making our party a success and for creating a special memory for our kids on their special day.
