We were very pleased with the entire experience with The Calypso Band. They were puntual, professional and willing to do what ever we wanted to help make our function successful. I am planning on using them again in the future on other projects.

The Calypso Gypsies were fabulous. They were punctual and meticulous about making sure that the sound was just right prior to the onset of the party. They brought instruments for guest participation and our guests had a ball! We had them as the entertainment for an island-themed doctoral graduation party. People said they felt like they were on vacation as they came into the venue and were welcomed by the sounds of the band. Trust me, if you are aiming to have a luau, island/tropical themed party, these guys will add a dimension of fun to your party that you will be hearing about for weeks after the event. They truly are a class act in the calypso band category.

The Calypso Gypsies did a great job. The booking process was straightforward and organized. On the day of the performance, they arrived early and had everything set up well before the function began. Then when they began playing the crowd warmed up to them right away. They interacted with our guests much more than other bands I have seen & they kept everyone engaged right up to the end of the night. I can recommend them without hesitation.

The band showed up early and listened as we tried to determine if we set-up outside or in. Once the decision was made, they set-up without any guidance or supervision needed. Once set-up - they began to play and were totally engaging. Our party attendees loved the music and the theme of a "cruise ship journey". They brought percusion instruments for our party attendees and everyone loved it. They broke for lunch - and played the rest of the time. I would most definitely recommend this band and we will certainly utilize them again next year for our Hawaiian Luau. Thank you for making it so easy to do business with GigMasters and Calyspo Gypsies.

We had everything set up outside for our Luau event with the band under a tent and 250 people setting around and then the bottom fell out and the rain came. The band not only helped us get some of our residents inside the building, they grabbed all there gear came inside and within 30 minutes the party started again. We all looked liked drowned rats, but the bands brought sunshine to the entire room and for the next two hours our residents, family members and guests had an amazing time. They were learning how to do the hula, helping the band with instruments it was great!

Trish, was fantastic. They all were very professional, on time, music is just what we have been looking for. Everyone enjoyed them. The music was a soft sound that wasn't so loud that no one could hear one another. I would recommend them highly! Thank-you!

This group was perfect with our group of developmentally disabled adults. They adapted to this special population and used their time not only for fun but to educate as well. I believe our group loved them, and your group will as well. I recommend them highly!

The Calypso Gypses Sttel Drum Band was a great addition to our Hawaiian Luau fundraiser. Tricia was easy to work with and the band was on time, on budget, and exceeded our expectations. We were more than happy with the job they did and can't wait to create more events to utilize their great talent.

This band was very enthusiastic from the GetGo! They traveled from another state to perform, set up, and started entertaining the crowd. I liked that they added in props to lure guests into participating and dancing: limbo, spoon vest, etc. Even though our speeches ran over, they stayed an extra 20 minutes to compensate for the playing time.
