A Virtual Piano Bar is a gathering of people who share the songs, stories and requests that make up the soundtrack of our lives and so it with the new reality that is our lives in this pandemic. I have been performing shows on-line for the past 6 months on three different platforms and I have been able to create the Piano Bar experience with the requests, chatting and emoji's that people can use to provide feedback. First of all, it's the music. With Bob Goldstick – Piano Bar you get a journeyman piano man whose played at just about any venue you can think of with many piano bars from New York to Paris to London to Seattle with a long stay at Clint Eastwood's Mission Ranch in Carmel, Ca. With a repertoire of hundreds of songs from all style of music including Blues, Jazz, Rock 'n Roll, Country you are guaranteed that your guests will have the music they love. A typical set can include Fat's Waller jazz, Elton John Rock 'n Roll, Willie Nelson Country, B.B. King Blues or Santana Latin music. You can choose from a variety of shows from many different styles to a dedicated night of all Elton John (Including the entire Goodbye Yellow Brick Road album) or blues or jst about any theme you'd like up to the music of the 70's. Frankly 80's and newer are not my forte. The second part of the Piano Bar experience is the requests. By taking requests you know that everyone will get to hear what they like. It brings the audience into the show and they feel apart of the experience. The third leg of the trifecta is stories. Every song has a story if only the story from the songwriter that wrote the song to many instances where songs have a special meaning for as many reasons you can think of. The song you fell in love to or the song that played the day you got your best job or found your dog. Or the sad song you sang when you got dumped for the first time. Music touches us in our hearts and the right song at the right time can be very powerful. I hope you'll give me the opportunity to entertain your guests and a good time will be had by all. Just as a note: I started working for this booking site about 15 years ago and was performing on the steel drum so all of the revues I have received have been for my steel drum act. I don't perform with the steel drum anymore and now just play piano in a piano bar format.
