Hailing from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania the accomplished drummer for SOUTHERN POINT began playing as a young teen, influences include Todd Sucherman (Styx) and Ginger Baker (Cream). Allan acquired the nickname "Sticks" as he always had his drumsticks with him where ever he went. In a few years he had to secure a special work permit because at the age of 17 he was an underage minor playing in the Pittsburgh nightclubs on the weekends. Graduating High School there in the 1970's he went on a vacation to Florida with his family and liked it so much he decided to stay, he has been here ever since embracing the South and it's rich music scene as his new home. After arriving in the Sunshine State he played with several good bands over the years while also working as a Class A contractor, Real Estate Broker and Property Manager. Allan is also an accomplished poker player and spends weeks in Las Vegas every year enjoying his favorite pastime which is second only to music. He and his wife Cindy have just returned from a trip to Europe, something they had always dreamed of doing.
