SINGER/ PIANIST
After years of songwriting and working with bands, Roger started playing solo in 1988 at a wide variety of clubs, colleges, parties, restaurants and events, with a successful 27 season residency at Siro's, Saratoga. He began to focus on his own arrangements of a large selection of songs from the American songbook -- Irving Berlin, Fats Waller, Cole Porter, Hoagy Carmichael, Gershwin, Sinatra, Louis Jordan -- through early rock and roll to the Beatles, Motown, and the singer-songwriter era. Songs include a variety of instrumentals from the same periods, as well as folk, New Orleans style, boogie woogie, Latin and Country.
Available for clubs, parties and events. Will travel within 500 mile radius of Kingston, NY. Fee: $200 to $750. Has own digital piano and sound system.
