Boasting a huge repertoire from the '50s and '60s, Vili Verhovsek's Vintage Favourites Live show brings the best of music's golden age to you. The show celebrates everything from classic rock 'n' roll and pop to romantic ballads and forgotten hits. The performance may include songs made famous by Elvis Presley, Roy Orbison, Bobby Darin, Tom Jones, Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly and Frank Sinatra. A vocal chameleon, Vili Verhovsek delivers a high-energy interactive show. A guaranteed crowd-pleaser. Vili has worked alongside many celebrities, such as Canadian rock icon Ronnie Hawkins, Glass Tiger frontman Alan Frew, comedy superstar Russell Peters and the cast of the Sopranos TV series. He's also shared the stage with Elvis Presley's vocal group The Jordanaires, country icon George Hamilton IV, crooner Matt Dusk and CCMA guitar player of the year Wendell Ferguson. Vili emerged on the scene in the '90s putting his spin on Elvis Presley's song catalog. In 1996, seemingly out of nowhere, he placed first at the largest Elvis festival in world, based in Collingwood, Canada. Around that time, he also made the Top 10 at the YTV achievement awards. Not content with mastering just one genre, Vili immersed himself in jazz and classical music theory at Mohawk College, graduating on the dean's honour list in 2000. He toured Europe before his graduation and in 2002 released his debut album, Indigo Blue, full of original compositions. Vili's widely known for his unique, passionate and velvety voice, plus his ability to perfectly craft a show for any audience.
