"JAZZ ON BROADWAY" - Maria Damore sings wonderful jazz gems from the Broadway stage as she melds two of America's most popular musical forms together with style and panache. As a singer, Maria readily shares her great vocal prowess and two and a half octave range with her audiences. As an actress, she interprets each lyric as she embodies a song. Accompanied by piano, drums, sax, bass. "THE MUSIC OF ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER" - Maria Damore will enchant and captivate you as she sings the music of Andrew Lloyd Webber. She is an incredibly versatile performer with a soaring soprano voice that can handle the diverse demands of Evita, Cats, and Phantom of the Opera with ease. "SPIRITUAL JAZZ" is a concert Maria began formulating after having been a part of the choir which presented Duke Ellington's sacred pieces during the Clifford Brown Jazz Festival in Wilmington several years ago. It was first presented during the 2008 Berks Jazz Fest in Reading, PA at the glorious First Baptist Church in downtown Reading. This concert was part of the afternoon vesper service and provided a joyful and uplifting message for those in attendance. The program includes traditional hymns arranged in a light jazz style, gospel pieces, and several of Duke Ellington's inspiring sacred pieces, written for his Sacred concerts in the 1960s.
