Herschel Lester has spent more than three decades working and performing as a professional musician. His talents range from the demands of a live solo performance to the ability to perform in a small or large ensemble. With his many years as an accomplished musician, teacher, composer, and music director, Herschel brings with him a wide variety of skills and experiences to his projects as a performer and entertainer. Herschel is a Texas performer who also performed for several years in local Marathon and Key West venues in the Florida Keys. While dealing with seven hurricanes in eighteen months, moving from Texas to Florida and back to Texas (make that 8 hurricanes, add Ike), and many varied life experiences along the way, Herschel's song writing drives much of his musical creative activities.
