Ashley Kennedy Singing Pianist from Columbus, OH

Welcome! Ashley picked up the piano at age 1, the violin at age 11, and the guitar at age 18. She has been singing at every point in between and has a three-plus octave range with a naturally emotive, soulful timbre. Ashley took piano lessons for over a decade, violin lessons for 8 years, and taught herself the guitar. Ashley performed first violin with the Columbus Symphony Youth Orchestra under Maestro Peter Stafford Wilson for two years; with the Golden Strolling Strings in Pittsburgh; as Concertmaster for her high school's theater productions; as a first violin with the Grace Worship Orchestra; and on smaller church worship teams before going pro. She sings acoustic piano/guitar sets at the Potbelly Sandwich Works in downtown Columbus every Thursday. *** While classically trained, Ashley's unique strength is arranging any song by ear.
