Hello!
I'm Jimmy Villaflor. I'm 24 and graduated from the USC Thornton Popular Music Program in 2015 with a BM in Performance as a singer-songwriter. In 2013, my song, "She Doesn't Love Me Anymore" was one of five chosen to be performed at Bovard Auditorium to open for the Beach Boys.
While my originals are written more or less within the folk genre, I enjoy playing many styles of music. My repertoire includes many oldies and classics from Motown to the Beatles, Sinatra to Elvis, classic rock to soft rock, but I am able to learn and format any modern songs to an acoustic setting.
My performance is well suited for outdoor parties or weddings that require mellow pretty music, although I am not at all restricted to those types of settings. I can get the crowd moving if you need something more upbeat. I also love channeling my favorite singers from Al Green to John Mellencamp to Marvin Gaye, so don't be surprised if you hear some of that as well!
I am punctual and professional. I have everything I need to perform in small- to medium-sized settings.

Jimmy Villaflor is The. Best. Ever. We hired Jimmy to play the music for our wedding. He’s a solid professional: was consistently available through the planning phase, arrived early, was well -prepared, respectful, polite& friendly. His performance: AMAZING -& he has the best energy. Every guest commented on how much they loved him. He sang every song from our playlist (C. Oberst, A.Winehouse, W.Pickett, etc.) perfectly. But what blew us away were his original songs. His voice, lyrics &tunes -astonishingly beautiful, 100% original, derivative of no one. He made our eve so special. Definitely recommend - best muso ever, hands down. Thanks Jimmy!
