Jim Ramsey is a Chattanooga-based singer/songwriter whose romantic, Celtic-tinged folk rock blends British progressive influences with a dash of Scenic City soul. His songs chronicle life in the South, extending the Appalachian folk music tradition into the 21st century. Inspired by the beauty of the Tennessee Valley and infused with archetypal images and social commentary, Jim's lyrics express the quintessence of his experience in the universal meeting place between spirit and the flesh.
