j.ferg music is Jay Ferguson, a singing acoustic guitarist from Northern Rhode Island. Jay plays a mix of classic and modern rock, folk, country and pop from the 50s to today, all with a rootsy, Americana treatment. With a songbook of nearly 500 songs, there's certain to be something for everyone, and Jay encourages requests to help make the event perfect.
Jay is also one half of Rhode Island acoustic pub rock duo, the Chicago Robbery. Together, they share the honor of being the only acoustic duo to ever be nominated for best cover band by the Providence Phoenix (2014). Between solo and duo appearances, Jay averages well over 150 dates per year playing everything from clubs and bars to weddings, back yards and senior centers!
