Welcome to the Caribbean sounds of Island-Vibes, featuring songwriter/musician, Paul Patrice. Paul is originally from the Caribbean island of Dominica. Based in Greensboro, North Carolina, Paul, an accomplished singer and guitarist, performs solo as Island-Vibes. Island-Vibes showcases a variety of Caribbean rhythmic trends; such as, Reggae, Calypso and Soca, with a pop/rock twist. Island-Vibes repertoire includes popular reggae standards; as well as, Caribean-styled covers of 60's and 70's rock favorites. Imagine the musical artistry of Bob Marley merged with the stylish grooves of John Mayer. Paul's creative arrangements exude the smooth, infectious dance vibe of the Caribbean with an emphasis on positive, encouraging lyrics for family-friendly entertainment. Island-Vibes' Bob Marley Tribute performance is guaranteed to "lively up" reggae fans of all ages. In addition, Island-Vibes is available for a Caribbean Praise performance which is an audience favorite at Contemporary Christian worship services and youth events. Island-Vibes has performed at the Carolina Theatre, Boston's House of Jazz, Greenhill Center for North Carolina Art, Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, First Lutheran Church and the African American Arts Festival.
