The RagTag Variety Band provides a wide variety of original Sonoma County rock'n'roll and choice classic FM rock covers. Influences on the original rock music span the 20th century and include classic rock, jazz, blues, burlesque, surf, and ragtime. We are not a dance band per se, our repertoire is more varied than a dance band. So some is dance, some is listening, some is both. You get excellent, interesting music, entertainment, variety, humor and fun. So as a change from a covers-only band or a DJ, imagine Jefferson Airplane, Janis Joplin, Cream, Beatles, Kinks as well as great contemporary original rock music. Four piece band.
