Dayfall Rock Band from Athens, GA

Dayfall has been a household name in southern Georgia since 2007 after winning the Club La Vela Battle of the Bands and being crowned band of the year. Yet conflict and personal issues drove the original members apart in 2008. The remaining three decided to carry on in a quest to make music that would truly portray what they were about. In July of 2008, they discovered Blake Ware. Immediately blown away by his soaring vocal range and passion for music, it was decided that he would be the new frontman. Shortly thereafter, the band began to write new music. The four put their heads together and conjured up a tune that would do more than define them, but would tell a story of past experiences leading up to their new beginning. The song was "Over Now", and was written as closure to a chaotic journey, and the desire to cut ties and move on in a new direction. More songs followed, such as "Cause and Effect", "Long Way Down", "Find My Way", and "Blame". With the help of producer/engineer Matt Washburn of Led Belly Sound Studio, the band recorded an EP with seven solid tracks. Dayfall is currently working on a full-length album, which they hope to release by the Summer of 2009. This group has a 'live' performance that is second to none!
