The Oysters play a variety of music from the original Rock n Roll explosion - rockabilly, country, rock n roll, doo-wop, blues, soul, surf, and standards. Everyone from 7 to 77 will be putting on their Blue Suede Shoes and doing The Twist.
The members of The Oysters Rockabilly Band are professionals, being veterans of several Cape area bands. Four vocalists makes for harmonic, powerful and dynamic vocal performances within a variety of musical genres. It's the music of our grandparents' generation, but we think the music of the original rebels and crooners still stands as the best around. The harmonies of the Everly's and the smoothness of Sam Cooke; the driving rhythms of Chuck Berry and wailing guitar of Link Wray; the swagger of Cash and the energy of Little Richard. The music that started it all and still fills the dance floor.
