Unknown to us, we hired Velvet Rut for our wedding reception. What a great band! We have received many compliments on their talent from many of our guests. They knew when to keep the crowd dancing with songs from all genres. Don't let the number of people in their band stray you away. They know how to fill the sound for all types of great songs. Thank you, Velvet Rut, for the most memorable night of our lives!

These guys played at our wedding in Crested Butte and rocked the house! They made our already good reception even better. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone within a few hours of the Denver area. They are talented, sound fantastic, and are ready and willing to accommodate! Thank you Velvet Rut :)

The band was outstanding during our Ice Breaker Event on 7 Feb . It was a 70's theme, and the band members made the effort to dress in 70's attire. They were extremely low maintenance, and I was very appreciative considering how many hours went into planning this event. The music was excellent and truly set the scene for the entire night. I would recommend this band for any occasion.

An absolutely phenomenal evening. The wedding was at a country club in Denver, and we wanted to go with a rock band, as opposed to the typical "wedding band". There were 150 people in attendance. The wedding goers (of all ages) raved about their song selection and they were very professional, showed up well on time, and proceeded to play a 3 hour set of great 70's, 80's, and 90's rock, but with unique twist to it. We asked them to learn a few songs, which they did, and they were performed brilliantly, The flow and groove had people dancing all night. The band is savvy enough to know the acoustics of the room, and played at a perfect volume. Great Band!

After seeing the setlist these guys have, I didnt think they would be as good as they were. Actually, I was a little scared until they played their first song. They kept everyone entertained and on there feet. Their musicianship was second to none. They werent too loud and they were true professionals in every way. Unbelievable is the only word I can come up with. If you want a party where everyone is dancing and having a good time, hire these guys! They were awesome!

We had a wonderful Company Christmas party thanks to Velvet Rut. They knew how to read the crowd and get us all out on the dance floor. They showed up on time, set up and really made the party easy for me to manage. They did exactly what I requested. I highly recommend them for a FUN party!

Velvet Rut played for my wedding and they were awesome. They traveled over 100 miles to play in our very small town and blew the town away. They made the "party of the year." I was very impressed with their talent and how flexible they were. They learned a song that I requested to play in my wedding. They were early for all scheduled events and were a lot of fun. I would recommend them to anyone who knows how to have a great time!!!

Velvet Rut was awesome! They were easy to work with and were willing to do just about anything to make our event fun. It was a company event so I was nervous about everything but they were perfect. Everybody danced and had a great time. I would have had them play longer if we had rented the venue for more hours. If I never need a live band for another event i'm flying them out! :-)

Velvet Rut traveled to Pierre, SD to play our outdoor wedding and they blew everyone away! We could not be more satisfied with choosing Velvet Rut to play our wedding. Making decisions online without seeing a band live was a bit nerve racking, especially for something as big as the entertainment for our wedding, but Velvet Rut put us at ease from the beginning. They were professionals in every detail, from communicating their needs and timeframe for travel, to accommodating requests and working the crowd. Our dance floor was PACKED!!! To put it simply they made our lives easy the day of our wedding. We could not be happier.

From initial contact they were very professional and courteous.Our member base for our club is Military affiliated and ages vary from 21 to 80. None of which are the least bit shy in asking for special requests or dishing out criticism. The band members accomodated all our requests with the very best atitude. Velvet Rut as proformers were extremely talented and everyone enjoyed listening to them and would like them back. They have a very long list of songs they can play and thier sound is very tight and well rehearsed. Velvet Rut is a top notch group in all respects, and I would highly recommend them.

The band was absolutely incredible, they were able to include the whole crowd, young and old. It was a fun night of great entertainment, I would recommend them to anybody and everybody. When we asked them to learn some songs, they had no problem doing that. It made our wedding reception perfect.

We had about 350 attend our fund raiser and everyone loved Velvet Rut. Many people requested a variety of songs for the band to play and they accomodated all request and did an excellent job. Thank you Velvet Rut and we would highly recommend this band!

Velvet Rut was awesome. For starters, they were very responsive to my emails leading up to the event (questions etc). The day of our party, they arrived an hour early to set up. They were extremely polite and fun. The best part was their performance- INCREDIBLE. My guests and I were blown away! Everyone absolutely loved them and my husband wants to make his birthday party with Velvet Rut an annual event. Velvet Rut absolutely made our party the best ever! Thank you guys!!!

Well, It may not be negative feedback but we obviously cant be proud of this rating. On a positive note, the bar manager was hospitable and friendly. The event was for an annual street festival and she confessed it was financially the best turnout for the 6 years they have been doing the event. The crowd stayed until they were kicked out. One major thing that ruined our vibe from the start was after being assured our equipment was safe and would be not subjected to anyone messing with it, we came back to a large group of people, INCLUDING THE STAFF!!, watching as other people were playing on our equipment. ouch, :(
