Ultrafix Live Band from Tulsa, OK

The straight-up rock-n-roll band with an electronica flare that's been together since '99 and has been both a Jim Beam unsigned 'Band of the Year' in 2002 and now GoGirlsMusic's best unsigned female act in the nation in Last Band Standing 2003. Their sound is explosive rockin-ass beats that are downright disrespectful, with edgy guitars and melodic female vocals that greet you with anG's come-hither grace then knock you out with their powerhouse live show. ULTRAFIX began in July 1999 by Angie and TJ, and by September of 2000 The group had put together a tour of the West Coast after attending SXSW 2000 and using crafty marketing and relentless promotions. They even showcased in Portland at NXNW 2000. This tour basically taught the band all about 'paying dues' and touring essentials. The band met up with Todd and Toby Pipes of 'Deep Blue Something' at the North Texas New Music Festival after their tour and then worked on their first 5 song E.P.recorded at Bass Propulsion Labs in Dallas, TX in early 2001. The Fall of 2001, TJ met Andy Kubiszewski of 'Stabbing Westward' (also The The, Crowded House and Nine Inch Nails) and he has agreed to produce the band's first official release. He has produced their singles 'Rounder' and 'Fallen' which are available for streaming on the web and on cd singles at their live show. Currently, the band is working on their newest material with Andy and is getting ready to enter the studio to record. Currently, the band is also an AMP/Mt.
