SO, COME OUT AND BAY AT THE MOON WITH THE HOUNDZ BECAUSE THESE DOGS ARE BARKIN'! Together 11 years the 7 piece, full horn section Houndz, play sixties covers and original tunes from their two cd's. (note: we've even learned a couple of Christmas tunes for Christmas Parties!) Arists they cover include Aretha Franklin, Wilson Pickett, CCR, The Blues Brothers, Van Morrison, The Beatles, Joe Cocker, The Temps, Grand Funk, etc. Chicago group covers include The Ides of March, The Buckinghams and Chicago-(see song list)- Original songs include 'Sweetness' (Memories Of A Fan), their tribute to Walter Payton and Street Corner Night- a tribute to growing up on the South Side of Chicago- Press includes the Chicago Tribune, Daily Southtown, Diversions and more. Radio/TV includes WKKD, WJKL, WCBR, WIIL- TCI Local Access Cable and more. Gigs include Vernon Hills Summer Fest, Elgin Fest, Roselle Park District, Honest Johns Bar and Grill, Corporate Events and many other bars and private parties over the past ten years as well as opening for Chicago favorite, The Cryan' Shames, and the Classic Rock All Stars- (Note: we have a sound man and will provide continuous music via cd's during breaks) Also, if you love to sing along, we have all the words to the songs- Come on up and join us!
