Hailing from the land down under, the female-fronted Paradoxx fuses synth-pop and Euro-dance beats with goth rock. Alternating male and female vocals (each with obvious Australian accents) add nicely to their unique style. Their multi-dimensional lyrics are open to interpretation, but they ultimately have a deep spiritual meaning. Positive rumblings have begun about this band as a result of various compilation appearances; their debut full-length CD New Devotion does justice to this hype.
