KARMA is a modern rock group from North Carolina that was formed for the sheer joy of creating and performing powerful music. The name represents the power or force that is unleashed when the members perform their original songs. This has proven to be a potent formula for the band. It set into motion a string of successful appearances that quickly gained them recognition from fans and local music scenes around the Southeastern United States. After presenting a demo CD to the local radio station, they received the response that they were “the most impressive modern rock group in the area.” The band has signed a record deal with World Empire Records and secured management with The Pettit Management Group as well as radio promotions with Protocol Entertainment out of Atlanta, GA. The members of the band have over 25 years of experience including national touring acts and international appearances. The powerful sound of the group starts with drummer Paul LaMarr and bassist Patrick Boyd. Lead guitarist David McGhee provides the energy with his driving riffs and explosive solos and vocalist/guitarist Chris Starks pulls it all together by matching the power of the group with his dynamic vocals.
