Frank Porter is an award-winning professional guitarist, independent songwriter, and band leader with over 30 years of experience who signed with Tate Music Group for his “Who I Am” album. He is a dedicated and reliable professional entertainer who writes and performs acoustic original songs, upbeat and unique instrumentals, as well as select classic rock cover songs. Blues, folk and rock primarily influence Frank's music. In the spring of 2015, he took 6th place in the instrumental category of Indie International's worldwide songwriting contest with his song, “Fly,” in which he was competing with the likes of the winner, Matthias Hübner, who was trained at The Academy of Music in Dresden, Germany. That's pretty good for a self-taught musician and songwriter! Frank released an independent live album in 2015 titled simply, “Frank Porter – Live.” He's already working on a new studio album and DVD for 2016 with the studio album just about finished at this time. Soon to be released will be Frank's 3rd album in the past 5 years. This will be the second studio album. It's title is, "I Can Win."

A popular website just tapped Frank to be a judge a music contest.
At Frank's age having diabetes as well as liver disease and COPD, and holding down a day job and to be doing this is a miracle in itself. Diabetes is a cause Frank hopes to become a spokesperson for. We hope you take a chance on Frank as he will surely surprise and delight you.
