Formed in late 2004, Five Too Many is a group of musical enthusiasts, current and former professionals, with collective experience of over 25 years entertaining in the DC metro area. Five Too Many is a six piece band featuring Ms. Kristi Barnes on lead vocals. With a two guitar attack, keyboards and a variety of vocal sounds and ranges, Five Too Many deliver an energetic, groove-oriented mix of rock, funk, folk and jazz. If you want to dance, laugh, and have a great time listening to some great tunes, be sure to catch the next Five Too Many show. When I was looking for a band for my event, my most important factor was finding a band that would be enthusiastic about my cause. Not only was Five Too Many incredibly enthusiastic about helping out my cause, but they were very accomodating as to what we needed for the night (80s music), and understood that because it was a charity event, we couldn't pay them a lot.
I am so grateful that we found each other. I will definitely recommend Five Too Many to my entire community of fundraisers and event planners, and hope to do an event with them again in the future.
