Born Leshawn Tucker in Fairbanks, Alaska but raised in Youngstown, OH, Rock & Soul artist Le' is an American singer/songwriter with Panamanian roots who currently splits his time between Los Angeles, CA and Atlanta, GA. With musical influences that include Lenny Kravitz, Sam Cooke, Stevie Wonder, and Donny Hathaway, Le' has a style that effortlessly blends the genres of rock, soul and hip-hop, to create a fresh imaginative sound that is well suited to his smooth “Baritenor” described vocals.
At a very young age Le' gravitated towards music and entertainment, taking lessons in classical bass and studying classical music. He is a accomplished pianist and also plays other instruments including the guitar, bass and the drums. Le' is also trained in various dance techniques including hip-hop, ballet, jazz and tap, making him a quadruple threat singer/songwriter/composer and dancer. Growing up, Le' was constantly involved with music performing in local talent shows around the city and state. While in college at Wright State University, he wowed audiences at various venues and quickly became a sought after name for both fans and promoters.
His skill as a versatile writer led to the opportunity for him to write music for John Legend, Kelly Rowland, Nick Lachey, Three Six Mafia artist Project Pat and indie artist such as F.I.CO, Sherena, and Katelyn.
In 2007 his talent led to a spotlight as the winning team on the hit NBC show “Clash of the Choirs”, sharing the stage with Nick Lachey, Kelly Rowland, Patti LaBelle, Blake Shelton and Michael Bolton. In 2009, he then went on to form the underground Rock Band Integr8.
Having just released his Live Video EP, Le' is currently working on his solo project, the apply named “EvoLe'tion” while serving as the music coordinator and a songwriter for the upcoming film “Our Guy” staring Merly Streep , and “Killers In The House staring Queen Latifah as well as staring in and serving as the music supervisor for the docufilm “Are We Famous Yet???”.
His ultimate goal is to take his fans on a journey with his music that conveys both the pain and darkness reflected in the balance of the light. His first step is to simply meet greatness at its doorstep.
