  BACKGROUND VERIFIED
$300 - $2000 per event
Raleigh-based minimalist rock duo, Wholesome News, carefully crafted a quirky and dynamic, grunge-saturated pop show in November 2008 after adding a drum set and amplifier to their "acoustic" act. Jeff Human and Pete Miller, both budding Triangle singer/songwriters and Sharpie aficionados, draw heavily from the raw garage rock sound while incorporating catchy melodies, epic tales, surprise-laden song structure, subtle vocal harmonies, and just plain rocking out to create a familiar sound with a delightfully modern twist in the Triangle's emerging post-indie scene. Their demo, The Larsen Effect was released December 30th, 2008.

Their upcoming album is slated to be released in January 2010.
