The Carcinogens are a power trio from Sussex County, NJ. The band is composed of Chris Fantasia on Guitar and Vocals, Nick Rosado on drums and backing vocals, and Evan Stackhouse on bass and vocals.Their music incorporates a wide range of styles including punk rock, classic-style rock, ska, reggae, jam, metal, hard rock, folk, blues and instrumentals. The Carcinogens frequently feature and collaborate with other musicians in the area, such as the prodigy guitarist Jared Feldman, Percussion expert Ken Born, Down-home blues howlin' Ant Little, Big Boss Sausage's Mingo Lodge and Pete Lister, LORG, Guitarmageddon 2000 champion Mike Lawlor, Chuck Fantasia, Raven Little, Weller, Sean Egan from Swamp Fox, Toast and Totem pole, The Degenerates, Gabe Zander, and many more. The three members have gained strong local followings through previous pursuits. They have recently formed together to form a supergroup ranging from three to six or seven musicians on any given night. The band size is negotiable based on the venue, expenses, etc. The Carcinogens are on the brink of spearheading an explosive scene of great rock music, rivaling some of the most influential periods of music. This ambitious band is going to revive mainstream interest in organic, live music as opposed to low skill, digital bubblegum pop.
