About Vendor

Learn more about this vendor for your event.

Southern Cross was initially created with a mix of performers from very diverse musical backgrounds. These professionals came from Country, Classic Rock, Alternative Rock, and Southern Rock to create a hybrid show that would be appropriate for any venue and any customer need. These musicians bring over 100 years of professional music playing experience starting with the British Invasion in the 1960's and right up to today's Top 40 Country and Rock genres. Southern Cross is a high energy, harmonic group which tailors each show to the needs of the venue. The mixture of youth and maturity in the membership helps keep the musical influences of the group up to date. On August 25, 2008, the group released its first original, LIVE THE MUSIC, which is available on Amazon, Rhapsody, ITunes, and other online sources. Southern Cross membership is 100% union. As members of the American Federation of Musicians, Charleston, SC Chapter, the members adhere to a strict, professional code of ethics in performance and business activities.

The best! What can I say.

Club EventReviewed on June 27, 2009From Columbia, SC

The band arrived early and was quickly ready to go. They mingled with the customers and easily made friends before they got started. The band started playing early and played with very few interruptions. Everyone liked them and could not believe that we had been able to hire them for the price we paid. They come back in August and we can't wait. Thanks Southern Cross!

Southern Cross was asked to learn a couple of very hard alternative rock songs before the show. They performed them perfectly and with gusto. Everyone in my venue loves these guys. They are professional in every sense of the word and you get much more than you pay for when you hire them - no prolonged breaks, no endless talking - just excellent, lively music with a flare. The female lead singer (and very talented guitar and keyboardist) is absolutely beautiful and she has a voice to match. They will definitely be back at this venue starting with another show in July. Come on out to Lee's Tavern in Leesville, SC, to see the best talent around.
