Boomerang (Classic 50s, 60s, 70s Rock/Blues!) Rock Band from San Diego, CA

When we play, people dance! We are Boomerang - all our members are Baby Boomers (and we joke that you can throw us out but we'll keep coming back). We play a wide range of rock'n'roll and blues from the 1950s, 60s and 70s that you'll recognize and remember fondly. From Etta James to the Rolling Stones, Grateful Dead to the Eagles, Bachman Turner Overdrive to Tom Petty to Eddie Floyd and Martha and the Vandellas, we love the music of those decades and love playing it. We play private parties, class reunions, outdoor events, corporate events, and club gigs. We play long sets and take short breaks, because we LOVE to play music. We've been told our energy is contagious and people dance and laugh with us as we take them to those decades of the past. Most members of the band have been playing their instruments since the 60s and have stuck with it because of a passion for music. We have played a number of parties where the ages of the party goers ranged from 19 to 90, and everyone had a great time. We take people by surprise with the wide variation of songs, and we get people up dancing because the songs will take you back to your best dance moves. We will work with you to ensure that you accomplish what you want in having live music at your venue. If we can, we like to talk with you about the music you want and then put together a song list that supports what you like.
