No Static At All Tribute Band from Croton on Hudson, NY

No Static At All is a seasoned group of professional musicians who came together in early 2015 because of a mutual love of the music of Steely Dan. We perform song selections from all the albums in SD's 'classic' 70's period, from 'Can't Buy A Thrill' to 'Gaucho'. Depending on the requirements of each particular event, we can perform either as the full seven-piece configuration (with female background singer and a percussionist), or as our 'core' five-piece group: Guitar & backing vocal duties are handled by Joe Henderson. Keyboards & horn parts are played by Larry Gardner. Bassist Adrian Calonico and drummer Steve Fortgang comprise a funky, rocking rhythm section. Lead singer Andy Myers also contributes guitar & percussion. On larger stages, multi-percussionist David Vaughan and backing vocalist Julia Chen-Myers (whose knickname was 'AJA' long before she joined our group!), fill-out the sound just like the SD concerts or live videos you may have seen on line. More than just recreating realistic renditions of the Steely Dan album cuts you know and love to hear, we understand how to engage and really entertain our audience. The group doesn't hesitate to jam a bit on stage during the tunes, the way Steely Dan themselves always do in live performances. Playing this challenging complex music is something that most bands don't even attempt; and it's a real joy for us to make it happen. Please contact us about your next event.
