Hello. I like to think I have something a little different to offer than most of these guys and ladies. First and foremost I'm a MUSIC LOVER just like you and your friends/family, and my love of music inspired me to learn to play guitar so I could play all those songs. I play solo acoustic, but I don't let that stop me from playing high-energy rock music as well as some lighter acoustic standards. And I don't play any particular genre or era. I just play all the songs I grew to love over the course of my life, which happen to all be radio hits and party favorites. I always get people come up to me afterwards and say things like "Those are the songs I grew up with" or "You had me singing the whole time". And that's what I enjoy. From the Beatles to the Stones to Gloria Gaynor to Lynyrd Skynyrd to Tom Petty to Foo Fighters and The Killers and everything in between. I love it all. As far as my playing style, I'm all about keeping it simple and making it sound good. People say I have a smooth style, especially with my guitar playing, which will serve to keep you mingling and enjoying your festivities without any "rough part" distractions. I'm also very adept at learning songs, because if they played it on the radio I probably already know it in my head. So if you hire me feel free to send me some requests and I'll learn as many of them as I can...if I don't know them already. I love playing outdoor events, and that's where I feel I'm at my best, in an open area in front of a lot of people eating, drinking and being merry. I'm new to this site, so might not yet show a lot of reviews or gig history, but I have played plenty of them, and I would love to play out more.
