Raymond was singing in the front row of the audience, when he was beckoned backstage by Martha who snuck him on the bus and he wound up back at the motel where he spent the rest of the night singing and partying with his friends The Temptations. He later met Tony Saunders and immediately started songwriting with him to create the Raymond Coats sound. In 2013, Raymond released his album on the Tate Music Group imprint along with 17 compelling music videos on YouTube (Raymond Coats & The Ray Coats Band). Through extensive online and offline marketing, he developed a fast and still growing fan base. Raymond Coats & the Ray Coats Band have performed throughout Northern California, drawing large crowds and leaving them wanting more.
