Recently formed in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Wopokings is a seasoned Reggae Band. The lead vocalist Bob David started of his Musical career with the group Flexstyle. Dominated the Las Vegas Reggae market in the mid Nineties, they were Las Vegas first Dancehall Reggae group. As a member of Flexstyle Bob David has opened concerts for artists search as Beenie Man, Mad Lion, Jimmy Cliff, & Hip Hop legend Slick Rick.
Adding his unique style & flava to The Wopokings is William Shively, most people known him for his bass playing on Big Mountain - well known for the reggae version of Peter Frampton's "Ooh, Baby I Love Your Way" - which included members from several notable reggae bands, including Bob Marley, Jimmy Cliff and Ziggy Marley. While with Big Mountain, he recorded "Man in a Suitcase" for Regatta Mondatta: A Reggae Tribute to the Police (Ark 21).
Another seasioned player to bles us with is presents Philip Henry, very few can say they have mastered the art of playing over 40 instruments as a performer. Philip Henry has been playing Reggae music for over 20 years. One of his most note worthy time is when he toured with the international recording artist Shaggy on the "Hot shot" Album Hit single(Iit wasn't me).
