Irina Nero is a classically-trained singer that sings classical music, standards, pop, jazz, rock and opera. She has performed at the top venues in Las Vegas and Russia. She has pop music videos and songs on Russia's TV and radio channels. She has performed at numerous weddings, banquets and events. She was a vocal coach at the number one private school in Moscow and is currently performing every Friday and Saturday night in Las Vegas.
Irina was born in a small town near Moscow, Russia where she developed her passion as a singer, song writer and voice coach. Her family name is Arkhangelskaya, which means angel with six wings. Her great-grandfather was a priest and her father still sings in the Orthodox Christian church.
Since childhood, Irina has had a great interest in music, writing poems and melodies. At the age of 3, she heard her first foreign song which was Bobby McFerrin's, "Don't Worry Be Happy". It was this song that inspired the beginning of her music studies and this song that influenced her love for foreign music, knowing that as a poor Russian child, she would never have a chance to leave Russia and experience it live.
In 1992 and at the age of 7, Irina started music school, later attended a music college and then received a scholarship to attend a music university and then a Masters of Music University. During her 15 years of studying, she began to write songs, sang at her local church and performed at local functions. In 2007, after receiving all diplomas of music and becoming a student with the highest level of degrees, Irina was asked to become a teacher at her well-known Masters of Music University, where she taught until 2009.
