Victor Johnson specializes in upbeat Piano Pop, Sing-along, Jazz, and Classical piano music for Christmas Parties, Weddings, Corporate Events, and currently plays piano in many of the most fun and engaging groups in the Twin Cities, including the Retro Party Music group "You Oughta Know", Dance/Rock band "The Big Strong Men", and the Vintage Salsa project "Malamanya".

A Unique Approach:
Total memorization. The only way to create music that evokes a true feeling - something real - is to internalize it. For that reason, Victor plays only by ear and without printed music. "I take great joy in this process. Memorizing a song helps me understand where it's coming from and it just plain sounds better that way."

Victor played at our wedding and we were so thrilled to hear our requests sound so beautifully! We requested “Unforgettable” by Nat King Cole and even a song in Chinese, which my sisters all sang with the piano accompaniment. We highly recommend Victor to any couples that are looking for special songs in their wedding ceremony. He was also very easy to work with and had a great turnaround time. Overall, we are very thankful to have had him play at our wedding, and look forward to hearing him again at my best friend’s wedding!!
