I am a classically trained musician who started performing on flute and piano at the age of eight and continued my studies through high school and college. I obtained a BA in flute performance from UCLA and an MM from GMU in Piano Pedagogy and Performance. I studied flute with Sheridan Stokes at UCLA and piano with Dr. Joanne Haroutounian and Dr. Ana Balakerskaia at George Mason University. As a child, I took piano lessons with the late Moacir Santos, the famed Brazilian pianist who collaborated with Sarah Vaughan. My piano background stems from the Russian school of piano playing. My sound, technique and musicality will blow you away! I am a classical pianist specializing in the music of Bach, Beethoven, Brahms, Chopin, Debussy, Mozart, Persichetti, Rachmaninoff, and a host of other composers. I am versatile......I can perform a variety of musical styles on two different instruments to make your venue special, engaging, eclectic and unforgettable! I can also perform on short notice which many pianists or flautists are unable to do. As a flautist, I performed with American Youth Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Mehli Mehta and guest conducted by Zubin Mehta. I also performed principal flute in a special opera series at UCLA under the direction of Placido Domingo. In past years, I performed flute and piano at several retirement homes such as the Ballentine and Province Place of Depaul in Norfolk, Virginia, Chambrel in Williamsburg and The Hidenwood in Newport News, Virginia. In August 2013, I performed at the Kennedy Center's Millenium Stage as part of theWashington International Piano Festival at Catholic University. You can access the video through my website at . On September 23, 2016, I was selected to perform piano for a private party at the Ritz Carlton in honor of the opening of the newest Smithsonian Museum, the National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC). Additionally, I also provide accompaniment services. I can accompany vocalists, strings, woodwinds and brass instruments. I have accompanied for the United States Continental Army Band at Ft. Monroe in Hampton, Virginia and Missoula Musical Theater. I can also accompany for Solo and Ensemble Festival in Virginia and Maryland.
